Become a Leader
A CE Leader is someone to inspire, guide and inform: to be a mentor to the young folk themselves, encouraging them to deepen their trust in Christ.

Through participation in and ownership of their sessions, the young folk develop their personal gifts and skills. The Leaders help them gain confidence and understanding of worship, Christian living and service for Christ and the Church.

The Scottish Award Scheme can form the basis of the teaching as many can be worked on by the Group during the weekly session. Some are worked on by the individual as a personal challenge. Certificates can be achieved from a selection of 42 subjects. All are Bible or Church based developing Christ-like attitudes and lifestyles and also the skills and gifts of the child. Each colourful A4 certificate gained goes towards their Bronze, Silver or Gold badge.
